DigiLog keeps a maintenance record for your vehicle. This page describes exactly what that means for your data: what is stored, who it reaches, and how to remove it.
Account details. Your email address, an encrypted password, and a display name if you set one. Authentication is handled by Supabase; we never see your password in readable form.
Vehicle records. The make, model, year, mileage, registration and VIN you enter, plus every service visit, part, cost, reminder, admin log and detailing log you record against them.
Uploaded files. Receipts, warranty documents and car photos. These are stored in private buckets, readable only through short-lived links issued to your own signed-in session.
Supabase hosts the database, authentication and file storage. Row-level security scopes every record to the account that created it.
Vercel hosts the application and collects anonymous, aggregate page-view analytics. No cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers, no cookies used for profiling.
Invoice scanning is optional and sends your photo to a third party. If you use it, the image is passed through the Vercel AI Gateway to a vision model to read the text. An invoice typically contains the garage's name and address, the work done, prices, and sometimes your own name or registration. The model currently used is operated by Z.ai, a provider based in China, and the request leaves the EU. The image is sent for that single request and is not used by us for anything else. If you would rather not do this, don't use the scan button - every field it fills can be typed in by hand.
Your records stay until you delete them. Removing a vehicle deletes it and everything logged against it. Deleting your account removes the account, every vehicle, every record, and every uploaded file.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be reversed - we keep no backup copy to restore from.
You can view and edit everything you have entered from inside the app. To export it, or if you have a question this page doesn't answer, get in touch via the support page.
To erase everything, go to Settings and choose Delete account.
DigiLog isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who receives it, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
